Hey guys,
my name is Tayler Roberts, I am originally from Vancouver Washington, and I loved the cold weather   and the northwest is the most beautiful place on this earth. When I turned 19 I had the wonderful opportunity to serve a mission for my church in Pittsburgh Pennslyvania for 18 months. It was the most amazing experience of my life, I loved being able to meet so many wonderful and inspiring people. Also on my mission I was able to meet my incredible finance, who was also another missionary serving there as well. He is defiantly my better half and helps me everyday to become who God wants me to be.
While serving my mission my family moved to Miami Florida, so I was able to come home to Florida and spend time in an immensely humid area. After being home only 3 months we got hit by hurricane Irma, which we stayed home to ride out. It was pretty intense, but there was a miracle that happened from that horrible disaster. After the hurricane there was so much devastation but something amazing occurred, all of the neighbors went outside and started helping each other before themselves. We witness thousands of selfless acts of love towards neighbors, people who didn't even know each other going out and helping. It proved to me that there is still love in this world.
Lastly I am currently going to Brigham Young University Idaho, studying Marriage and Family Studies. And the purpose of this blog is to keep a record of my thoughts of the things I am learning while taking these courses. I hope anyone who reads this will also learn more about the sacred nature of families.
